Ann Assarsson is a singer and pianist originally from Goteborg, Sweden. With a Master of Music in Vocal Performance, her classical training supports a wide repertoire ranging from Opera, Operetta and Art Song to the timeless Jazz of Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald. Passionate about musical exploration and reinvention, Ann’s charismatic and personal approach to programming and performance has been delighting audiences from coast to coast for over a decade, with the incorporation of numerous outstanding musical collaborators. Together with Med’s Mood Swings from California, Norwegian pianist and composer Trond Gilberg, and many other exceptional musical talents, Ann brings a thoughtful elegance to every piece of music, combined with a rich vocal sound and versatile range.  Currently performing locally with NoMad Dreams, Ann is following her passion of creating entertaining shows that bring people together to share in her uncomplicated love of music.
